Looking to Adopt? Take one of us home with you!

Throughout the year we hold many special events in order to raise money to support our efforts of rescuing and rehabilitating stray animals in need. The funds received from adoption fees help to provide emergency care, diagnostic testing, vaccinations, monthly heartworm/flea prevention, and food to animals that would otherwise go without. We believe every animal deserves a chance for a happy, healthy life in a loving home.

Hello lovely readers of Carolina Beach Animal Hospital, why don’t you pull up a chair while I spin a yarn of how I came to be here. It’s a tail full of adventure and danger! Well, maybe none of that, but it’ a good story.

Originally I was at this place I heard called a “shelter”, not exactly sure what that is, but I know there were other felines just like me waiting for something called a furrever home. I’m an 8 year old boy and didn’t think I would have a chance with all these young kittens looking cute and crying. Gross. I wasn’t feeling too pawsitive about getting out of here anytime soon. Then it happened! It happened for me. This gentleman saw me and knew that I was the purrfect match for him. We were a match made in heaven. At least at the beginning until I got sick.

I am what they call a special needs pet because I have diabetes and so I require a little bit more care than most. I feel like I more than make up for it with my loveable nature and having just the right cattitude. Unfortunately, the man that saved me couldn’t care for me in the way I needed. So, the kind staff of College Road Animal Hospital took me in as one of their own and promised me to find the best home. I have a very good feeling that I would make the perfect companion for you.

Grainger is current on all his vaccinations, heartworm/flea prevention, tested negative for Felv/FIV and has already been neutered.

If you or someone you know is interested in adopting this absolute cat-ch, feel free to submit an adoption application, or contact our office for more information at (910) 458-3000.
